Swedish rock band GREYBEARDS takes no prisoners when it comes to rocking hard. Inspired by bands like Foo Fighters, their powerful vocals and energetic sound are bound to instantly shake you. Formed as a one-gig band in 2012 by four highschool friends (Olle, Ingemar, Niklas and Simon) in Gävle, the group’s synergy and sound led them to continue playing in many different stages during that summer, releasing their first demo the next year. The band has extensively toured Sweden and countries like China, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Slovenia, Poland, Palestine, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Russia, shaping their strong onstage presence and sharing the stage with bands like Bonafide and Mustasch. In 2014 they won the district final of the “Svensktoppen Nästa” contest. “The process of us creating music has always been a living thing for us”, they relay, with a method that is described by them as a sort of “magic” and “slow-cooking stove” on which the music ideas of the band members fuse with the lyrics of the lead singer, Olle Westlund. GREYBEARDS released their debut album “Longing to Fly” in 2015, followed by “For the Wilder Minds” in 2018. In 2022 they signed with Rexius Records, looking to continue their growth. “Right now, we’re ready to feast”.
